Aims and tasks of the project

Objective
Promotion of “good practice” and an innovative support system for modular education and vocational training in Europe, by creating an internet portal, databank and the European Institution for development and dissemination of the modular approach.

THE DESCRIPTION OF DETAILED TASKS OF THE PARTNER AND SCHEDULE OF THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENT

Stages of the project accomplishment and detailed list of objectives
WORK PACKAGE No 1
  1. Identify partners’ needs and expectations with the regard to the use of EMCET database and website www.emcet.net current and new resources (updated information, new services)
  2. Develop and enter new data (agreed with the administrator) in English into the database
  3. Inform about the project and partnership on the project website www.emcet.net (in Polish and English) and update the data regularly
  4. Test website and database new language interfaces in partner countries, improve information system in the view of the feedback received from all partners
  5. Conduct an international comparison (benchmarking) of the competences required for modular training trainers, including the partner countries and others outside Europe. This will be based on a comparison of the English translations of the specifications of the competences.
  6. Prepare an international benchmarking report presenting the results of the comparison and recommending European best practice. The Recommendation will specify the best practice standards for modular training trainers, suitable for use by ModENet in future qualifications, continuing professional development, courses, etc.
  7. Insert the information about the products and results of the WP1, WP2, WP3 into the database and website
  8. Disseminate information about the system in partner countries
WORK PACKAGE No 2
  1. Develop the strategy for the promotion, commercialization and sustainability of the European Network of Modular Training Providers
  2. Describe examples of good practice of functioning of the Polish Network of Modular Education, develop good practice guidance notes and transfer to the partner countries
  3. Identify the needs and expectations of the new members of the ModENet in the area of its functioning, aims, methods, ways of co-operation. Report on the survey and analysis, and discuss findings with the partnership, common assessment within the partnership but also gaining opinion from the groups of interest in the partner countries
  4. Develop the documentation for the organization-legal base for ModENet activities (statutes, programme). Consult with partners and others. Finalize the general legal document for the European Network of Modular Training Providers.
  5. First meeting of members and election of the Chair and the Board members for ModENet with broader participation and choice of the headquarter
  6. Implement the strategy for the promotion and valorisation of the results, recruit new members for the network, develop value-added benefits for membership (e.g. newsletter, on-line help and discussions)
  7. Set up and manage administration systems for ModENet membership (address lists, subscriptions, direct emailing, website, etc)
  8. Develop models of co-operation with the other national networks built in the partner countries
  9. Promote the ModENet trademark, and apply it to website, templates for letters, presentations, business cards, report covers, certificate and brochure/leaflet about the ModENet in the languages of the partner countries and describe the roles of usage of it by the partners
  10. Produce an evaluation report on the implementation of the strategy for the promotion and valorisation of the results at the European, national, regional, local and institutional level
  11. Prepare the information materials and present the results of the Work Package 2 at the international conference, summarizing the project EMCET 2
  12. Develop the documentation and strategy for sustainability of the ModENet after finalising the project
WORK PACKAGE No 3
  1. Agree on work plans and prepare contract agreements for partner institutions by the promoter
  2. Organise workshops (based in ITeE) for all partner institutions in order to specify individual and common tasks, communication plan, principles of financial and content-related reports, monitoring, process, results and products
  3. Develop the strategy for the promotion and valorisation of the results taking into consideration expectations and needs of target and potential beneficiaries and its realization in each partner country
  4. Disseminate of EMCET de Bank project outcomes in 8 new partner countries of EMCET-2 project
  5. Develop a new publication ”Modular vocational education and training – examples of good European practice” taking into consideration experiences of partner countries
  6. Prepare the publication (see point 4) for print (in 10 languages), distribute it in partner countries
  7. Prepare an electronic version of a EMCET-2 project brochure and print it in the languages of partner countries
  8. Organise methodical workshops and seminars with the aim to disseminate and find new users of the EMCET-2 project outcomes
  9. Prepare the information materials and present the results of the Work Package 3 at the international conference, summarizing the project EMCET 2
  10. Produce an evaluation report on the implementation of valorisation (promotion, sustainability and commercialization) strategy of the EMCET-2 project results on a European, national, regional, local and institutional levels
  11. Produce interim and final reports taking into consideration evaluation outcomes carried by an independent external evaluator
  12. Disseminate the project results in the media (press, periodicals, radio, TV, Internet)
